magical dreamer

Got this several weeks ago and have only opened it a few days ago. it's a cute pair of shoes in a style i've been interested in since january. but shows the level of interest since i haven't worn them yet. i keep telling myself that i'll stop being sharing. i'll tell people nothing. i'll keep things because sharing only hurts me. but i never learn, do i... there's no one that i havent opened up to about the surgery that i'm not going to do. but i wanted to learn from their experiences if they had them...   

Started taking this pink bubblegum bag for a spin a while back but it already spent a bit more than a week with me and it's back in the closet. i cant wait to reduce my bag collection because i am overwhelmed for once. but i do need to mull over what to sell/give away because i have no room for regrets.  tomorrow the kids will hopefully be ready to go back to school.  

That combination can't go wrong in my opinion. Introducing my seasonal mini purchased during my winter trip to Tokyo. My pink chanel collection, though, is complete. I found my last one on my spring trip, not sure if I mentioned. It's the one I saw at my home boutique on valentine's day but didn't have a chance to go back and look for it because i had. een way too busy. i'll try and put up a pic of it sometime aoon. it's such a pretty bubblegum pink and some boutiques didn't have it.

so this is my vday gift to myself. why? because i'm worth it. i saw a pink boy chanel only a few counters down and almost told them to take back mine and bring me one of those. the shade of pink is perfect. so here's something i hate. a person feels that they are suffering injustice in their workplace or being overworked and instead of going to a person who can make a difference and address their problems and make a difference, they just mention in passing to anyone who will listen that they are having health problems due to their job. i hate to say man up/woman up/grow a pair or whatever so i guess i'm changing the expression to saddle up.      

My bag of the day. i like how this bag looks like it's a vintage bag and something that just came out a few months ago. the girl on the train, then gone girl, then sharp objects. i liked the last one the least but i am considering reading dark places next.  my skin is breaking out again...i think i am due for another session of hydrafacial.   

this chanel has become mine. slightly different color than expected and it is the largest size which looks like a tiny suitcase but i love and and so glad that i have it.   

After all my recent disappointments I decided there are several things I need to do to make myself feel better. Looking at new Chanel bags is one of those things. Firstly there's this flap bag with a top handle, similar to the old style ones. Except I wonder if there was a way to remove the top strap or pull it through so that it cannot be seen it all? That and the fact that it isn't gold hardware are both the only downsides to me. Otherwise it looks like a lovely bag. Another flap with a top handle.I'm finding this one in particular reminding me slightly of the Louis Vuitton Mettis, which is one of my favorite bags. I love Chanel's take on making the business briefcase or the school bag into elegance and ladylike. The same can be said like that of the previous bag, however, I would wonder if it were possible to remove the shoulder strap. I would have to try it to see if I can carry off the Chanel classic chain with this style of bag. The vanity...

I'm starting to feel guilty for all my shopping. i didn't buy the chanel bag in the pic above but i came in ready to check out chanel for pink items since they are not easily available back home. i got 2 pink ones already and a baby blue woc. i also got a 3rd bag from a brand called samantha thavasa, its petite choice brand. this one is much lower priced than my chanels of course especially since i chose a canvas one not leather. it came with a large pouch that could fit my university laptop and ipad.  probably if i do any shopping now i'll focus on gifts and maybe only what is sold here like qpot and swimmer. and novelty items from disneyland like the disney character hats and stuff.   

I love this cute cat bag from Chanel. I feel like I really want to add it to my collection. Although the pattern is seasonal it's just so cute and it's cats! What more could I ask for? I am really hungry today. I had 2 boiled egg sandwiches for breakfast and a salad for lunch. Right now it's 5.30 and I'm starved. I wonder if I should have a light dinner now before class? The level of hunger I've reached can be quite distracting I believe. And it's not like I'm craving anything specific, so it's not carb cravings or anything like that. Not really in the mood for class at all. I feel down because my summer vacation didn't go as I'd hoped and everything else I'd been looking forward to just went down the drain recently. I don't feel like I have the energy to do anything.

Today I saw this wallet on chain from chanel in person and fell in love. I fear I may end up buying it! it just makes me think of vintage bags!

My semester deliverables have all been delivered! All that's left is my final exams next week. I just don't feel like studying today so I'm taking it off, lol. These screenshots were tall taken from the Chanel website. I've really been interested in Chanel lately after having mostly ignored it my entire adult life. I do have a few of their handbags that I do not use too often. But last year I got the camera bag that I really love. Now I find myself more interested in their collections as a whole.  Almost bought this little red one on the left recently but changed my mind at the last minute. Mostly because I already bought a different colored wallet-on-chain just a week earlier! The colors of these two bags are so classy and elegant! I wonder, though, if the style would remain timeless or would feel like "old trendy" a few years down the line? Really interested in chevron these days. I do wonder if one day I'll finally tak...

Almost can't believe it's June already. Next week it'll be T-4 weeks till the Japan trip (if it actually happens). This is another perfume I recently finished, Chance Chanel. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I've received and gone through so many bottles of it over the years that it just feels like a neutral scent to me now. But in this recent set I've received it was the perfume, shower gel and body cream. I'm actually enjoying the freshness of the shower gel and as an added bonus, the bottle is so pretty that I think I may keep it as decor when I redecorate my dressing room.  This morning was my date with dh since he had a 3 day weekend. We went to see Warcraft and I personally really enjoy it. Dh says the story was super rushed though to me it was just rushed as I have no real background of the lore. it is so challenging for me to go through an entire perfume bottle but I am blessed to be given them as gifts from loved ones so I feel I should make an effort to use them.  for me Chance Chanel Eau Vive is not the most suitable. I don't hate it but definitely not my favorite. I enjoyed it for the duration of this bottle but if I ever had a headache, it made it worse (how sad) and probably on my skin it just isn't the best.  The only perfume I purchased in recent years was Jo Malone's Peony & Blush and that is one I plan to repurchase once my perfume supply goes down a little. I just don't feel right making additions to my current collection when there isn't a need at all.
