magical dreamer

Just went back to having hydrafacial and my first session was just earlier. i was fully prepared to have it done every 2 weeks but was informed there was no need and once a month is enough. but they did recommend a different treatment for my acne scarring, which is laser based. going to try that next week hopefully. My perfume of the moment. Can't believe there's not much of it left. this is the one i got from jo malone in munich last april.  

Despite being finished for a long time now, I decided it was time for me to talk about this fragrance! I selected it after having it recommended by my sister who is like a perfume nose in the making.  At first the perfume seems very masculine probably due to the cedar, but then I start noticing the rose note and musk which instantly makes it very feminine to me. It is a very unique scent in my opinion, and definitely need to readd it to my collection in the future. 

My first empty bottle of July. This is one of my favorites. Its scent is very floral, like a field in the summer. Such a fresh scent. I'm actually planning to repurchase in the future. My mom is very sweet...she's including me and the kids in her future travels. I'd really love it. Only Japan is in the works right now, postponed to the second week of August. But who knows? maybe another opportunity will present itself. 

Not sure what to say about this perfume that just finished except I didn't smell rose at all in it. Unfortunately not one that I plan to repurchase. We are finally home with A now but I'm going through another migraine spell. I think I'm probably going to have this affliction every summer now as it started the summer after I first got married. Every year I have more and more attacks. Maybe I'll try acupuncture or something to see if it makes a difference. I just can't believe how much I'm enjoying Game of Thrones! Already in season 4 now. My favorite storyline, of course, is Daenerys' but I've come to enjoy and appreciate the depth of all the characters and storylines. It's amazing!

This perfume, among my absolute favorites, was missing for a while. My daughter was playing with several of my perfume bottles and I manage to locate all but this one when she was done. It turned out to be behind her bed! I was so glad that it wasn't gone for good!

This is my newly finished Miss Dior ray de toilette. While looking it up on fragrantica I read a review that sounds exactly like what i think of it. I have a love/hate relationship with it. At times it smells fresh and floral but at other times it smells body odor. Unlike the reviewer, however, to me the scent is actually quite unpleasant and invasive! Probably a main reason why I won't be repurchasing. I find myself giving up on Dior in more ways than one lately...

Almost can't believe it's June already. Next week it'll be T-4 weeks till the Japan trip (if it actually happens). This is another perfume I recently finished, Chance Chanel. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I've received and gone through so many bottles of it over the years that it just feels like a neutral scent to me now. But in this recent set I've received it was the perfume, shower gel and body cream. I'm actually enjoying the freshness of the shower gel and as an added bonus, the bottle is so pretty that I think I may keep it as decor when I redecorate my dressing room.  This morning was my date with dh since he had a 3 day weekend. We went to see Warcraft and I personally really enjoy it. Dh says the story was super rushed though to me it was just rushed as I have no real background of the lore. Suffering a huge headache today and I have my managerial finance course tonight. Due to my schedule changes I missed 2 weeks of classes (because I was attending other classes), but I somehow managed to do a small catch up by myself today. Recently finished this but I can't remember its name...

One of my favorite perfumes that I just finished. I can detect both jasmine and musk in it. However, I wasn't able to use it much because I somehow broke the sprayer and it wasn't spraying particles anymore, rather spritzing droplets which looked awful on my clothes even though it's not like they stained. My husband has been home for a while not and I'm so glad that he has. We've really missed him and missed just hanging out in our house. It sucks vexing constantly on the move and carrying stuff around in a small suitcase. 

L'amore by Lalique, a recently finished bottle of perfume that I really enjoyed. It's floral and lovely. Keeping a record of perfumes I like pretty much opened up a new world of pleasures for me. Hubby and I took a short getaway trip and had an amazing time but I came back with this awful migraine that won't go away.  There's something wrong with my university schedule...it's missing 1 class when I know I'm listed for that class for the summer semester. I really don't want to be delayed even more so I'd better go sort things out when I go to my first class tomorrow. 

My current favorite perfume, Dahlia divin. At first it reminds me of soapy scents but then it smells really amazing! I can't tell what it is though!

Wonder what fell on my head today...decided to get Instagram again and it only took me a few minutes to delete it. Social media is just not for me anymore. if anything I think it was the source of many of my troubles.  Right now I'm running heroic black rock depths on hearthstone. I've reached high lord omokk. my husband actually helped me a lot with majordomo and Ragnaros, and he says he remembers that I also had trouble in the normal version of the card fight, too. He is so into the game that he can't help but give me tips here and there when I'm playing next to him. But I am enjoying hearthstone, too. I keep playing it until I fall asleep on days where we're at my mom's.  I feel like my fitness progress is going backwards lately...it really sucks. my latest perfume that I just finished. it smells like roses and I love it! 

Another favorite that I managed to finish. There are very few perfumes that could decide to repurchase in the future, and this is one of them.  I don't know where the time goes that I forget to post on this blog. There has been many instances where I'd start thinking of what I'm going to write about next, then a few days pass and I still haven't written anything! I've got a lot of assignments and studying to do this weekend but no idea how to start, having trouble concentrating! My rib pain is not helping at all, too. Hopefully this semester will end in peace so I can finally be done with economics and accounting. 

can't describe its smell...but I really loved it! 

it is so challenging for me to go through an entire perfume bottle but I am blessed to be given them as gifts from loved ones so I feel I should make an effort to use them.  for me Chance Chanel Eau Vive is not the most suitable. I don't hate it but definitely not my favorite. I enjoyed it for the duration of this bottle but if I ever had a headache, it made it worse (how sad) and probably on my skin it just isn't the best.  The only perfume I purchased in recent years was Jo Malone's Peony & Blush and that is one I plan to repurchase once my perfume supply goes down a little. I just don't feel right making additions to my current collection when there isn't a need at all.
